This is the official stance of K.A.P.A. (Karaoke Anti-Piracy
Agency...essentially the RIAA of the karaoke world):
If I own my own discs, can I load them onto a hard drive to play
them in a show, etc.? No, you MAY NOT load songs from other

Many "How To Hire A Disc Jockey" articles overlook one of the
most important criteria for choosing entertainment. Your ears.
Forget checking for a business license (anyone can get one), or
endorsement by some far removed, "official" DJ association. Send
them their required fee and they will endorse you too.
Whether your entertainer is "certified" on paper or not, how his
or her system sounds is critical. Most DJs are not experts in
the technical realm of sound specifications. They may not ...

So you've got some great scenes on tape and the only thing that
could make them better would be some music.
The bad news is of course is that the cost of buying the song
you really want is probably way out of reach for the indie
production. The good news is that for the price of talking to a
decent attorney to get the price of the music that you want, you
can buy the software that will enable you to create the music
that you need.
The software I'm talking about is Acid 4.0. It enables you ...

pitch of, 'Send it and if we like it we'll put you in rotation.'
After a few months of never hearing your music, you
automatically think you're not worthy.
First, don't buy that. ...

Data
The total amount of data you are writing is much less important than whether or not it contains large or several small files. If there are a lot of small files, the system may have problems with locating and opening the files quickly enough to send ...
